    How do I direct donations to The Independence Fund in memory of a loved one?

    The Independence Fund kindly requests that families or individuals interested in making a memorial donation contact our Develop Department at (888)-851-7996 x809.  Those making a memorial donation will be asked to include acknowledgement instructions and the name of their loved one with the gift. For example, if donating by check, enclose instructions with the check, or if making an online donation, annotate the information in the “Optional additional information/This donation is in Honor or Memory of” box, located at the bottom of on the “Donate to The Independence Fund” page. This will allow us to correlate the memorial gift to your loved one and provide appropriate acknowledgement. Upon request, we will disclose the total gift amount made in memory of that individual, as well as the contact information for sending your own personal thank you notes, if applicable. *Please contact Development at the number above to request a website URL for your family’s online donations.
