J.D. Williams was an Army Sergeant infantryman and was combat wounded October 2010 in Afghanistan when an improvised explosive device (IED) blast took both of his legs and his right arm. He loves to hunt and do whitewater kayaking, but his favorite activity may be blacksmithing. He and his wife live in Woodburn, KY. His favorite sports team is the Pittsburgh Steelers and his favorite band is Tessy Lou and the Shotgun Stars.

One thing you should know about him: “I Founded Mohawk Outdoors. I’m a blacksmith radio show host on Silkies Great outdoors. Hunting is my passion and I Shoot a bow with my teeth.”
