Justin Anderson (35) was an Army infantryman with 1st Battalion, 41st Infantry Regiment. He was combat wounded in 2003 in Iraq by a gun shot wound to the knee and a shrapnel injury from a rocket propelled grenade, which forced the eventual amputation of his left leg. He enjoys playing wheelchair basketball and competitive shooting events, and lives in Bellevue, NE with his wife and three children. His favorite sports team is the Los Angeles Rams and his favorite band is Madison Rising.

One thing you should know about him: “I was osseointegration patient number 215 in the world. First American Iraq Veteran to have the procedure done.”
