Todd Reed (57) was an Army Special Forces Senior Weapons Sergeant and was combat wounded April 1991 in Iraq when the blast from a landmine took his right leg. Todd didn’t give up and went on to become the first amputee to graduate from the Mesa, AZ police academy. After he retired from law enforcement, Todd, his wife, and his service dog moved to Whispering Pines, NC. His favorite sports team is the Boston Red Sox and his favorite band is Florida Georgia Line.

One thing you should know about him: “I was the first amputee to graduate from a law enforcement academy to become a police officer.”
