Blue Star Families’ Pain Points Poll: Week Three

As service members and military families adapt to life under social distancing, people are having to juggle work and home demands simultaneously. This week’s Pain Points Poll by BSF revealed participants returning to work, albeit virtual. Here are a few other insights reported from over 3,200 respondents:

  • 62% of military family respondents say a grocery delivery service is needed to better support their community during the outbreak; this was the most commonly requested community resource among all respondent groups.
  • Nine percent of respondents indicate they or their spouse have or will use Paid Time Off (PTO) due to their inability to obtain childcare.
  • 47% of caregiver respondents indicate their special needs child is unable to maintain continuity of care.
