In a new state partnership with OptumServe Health Services, Indiana National Guardarmories are providing free coronavirus testing for anyone with COVID-19 symptoms, Journal and Courier reports.
Testing will start at National Guard armories and expand to 30 testing sites over the next two weeks (50 sites total). Testing, which is appointment only, does not require insurance and can offer results within 48 hours.
“Launching this partnership with Optum further expands Indiana’s COVID-19 testing capacity,” said Gov. Eric Holcomb in a statement. “These free tests will be available in locations across the state, ensuring even more Hoosiers who have symptoms or an affected family member can get tested for coronavirus.”
