We hope that you are all staying healthy and safe during this unprecedented time.
We wanted to let you know that Cohen Veterans Network (CVN) has moved quickly to ensure that clients will continue to receive vital mental health care services online in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.
For the safety of our communities and staff, CVN is now operating as a fully virtual mental health system, for veterans and military families in the states we serve. All 15 Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinics are enabled to offer care virtually, via CVN Telehealth to the following states: California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Florida, Maryland, Pennsylvania, New York, North Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, & Washington.
Telehealth, face-to-face video therapy, has been a growing trend for CVN for some time. We know the importance of having access to mental health therapy and have taken steps to ensure our clients can continue to receive care during this prolonged period of isolation.
As you may know, CVN offers a wide variety of workshops, seminars, partner gatherings, and other events that are typically held in each clinic’s community room. To continue these valued services, in early April, the network will launch a “virtual community room” on its web site called CVN Presents. It will feature topics ranging from Self-Care During Crisis and Mental Health First Aid to art workshops and children’s programming. CVN Presentscontent will also appear on YouTube, RallyPoint, and Facebook Live.
During these extraordinary times it is important that we all work together to support each other. At CVN, we take this responsibility to heart, and are grateful to be able to stand with you to continue providing much-needed mental health services to our veterans and military families.
Please let us know if you have any questions at [email protected].
Take good care of yourselves and each other. We are here for you.
