The Independence Fund is always seeking volunteers to join us in our mission to provide the best care to our nation’s wounded, ill, and injured Veterans. The Independence Fund takes pride in the numbers. To date we have awarded more than 2,300 all-terrain wheelchairs, assisted more than 1,500 adaptive Veteran athletes, and directly impacted the lives of countless Veterans and Caregivers through our various programs. In 2018, we launched two new exciting programs (Adaptive Sports and Advocacy) and have numerous Caregiver retreats planned for the year.
